Tuesday, June 30, 2009Dearest Director and Mamma PattiThank you so much for your love, zeal, and support, to save the souls through Our Lady Mary and other saints like Saint Philomena. I keep you always in my prayers, and also our dear benefactors and members especially Dr. Thomas and his wonderful family, the work it is very good and grow so much with the Scapular of Our Lady by praying Her decade of Rosary, we need so much more than 15,000 scapulars to the priests of the Mont Carmel here, they ask of this big number, this other the boxes of Scapulars for all our promoters here especially the priests. I thank you so much, thank you so much, I received today 2 boxes, one of rosaries of Our Lady and the other of scapulars. I keep you in my prayers; I send you my love and gratitude. Ave Maria. Your little slave of the Immaculata: John Kayrouz Lebanon |
Dear Patti, Yes mum I will pray to St. Philomena with tears because it is now that we need money to make Philomena and Ven. Pauline Jaricot known to the world especially Kenya! I want to make my parish a small shrine of the living Rosary! Already one of the stations will name the church St. Philomena but the need only roof! I asked them to pray for our financial survival! I got your 2 boxes yesterday! Bravo! There is a lists of names about 42 names for novena masses rip already I have started the masses! Inside were wonderful newsletters with all the photos of the bishops who support our Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena (ULRA) missions! Bravo! Then, rosaries, oils of St. Philomena, cards, returned lists of names and forms, cards, medals etc! Viva mum! We appreciate all and pray for our financial revival! Be blessed! Viva!!!!! We love mum Patti! Our prayers and masses are for you! Ave Maria Fr. Patrick Mary Filomena Congo |
Dearest Mother Patti I saw and see in my eyes how the priests distribute the scapulars to the members and with great zeal and honor to Our Lady. It is something that seems miracle all this process spreading of the Scapular of Our Lady. I do not know before that we will arrive to this important point of preaching of the scapular with praying the Rosary with using it. It is really a miracle and not commerce or anything other, but the majority of the people of Lebanon are preached about the scapular and desire to carry it as a sign of salvation and protection of Our Lady in this world and at the other. Really the people here believe so much on the power of the scapular with the Rosary also, but they like so much to have Her Scapular in their houses, or in their cars and on their bodies. They use it for many things so important to them. I am sorry for the cost of the charges of the boxes to sending here, but only do what you can do and send only what you can send and Our Lady will do the rest. I thank you so much for your love and zeal to save the souls and to our dear benefactors who do and prepare the scapulars to arrive here safely, sometimes we send to Syria or to Jordan to the priests there. May Our Lady keep Her work here and everywhere for the triumph of Her Immaculate Heart and of the sacred Heart of Jesus in the entire world. Ave Maria Your little son, slave of the sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary John Kayrouz Lebanon |
Monday, June 29, 2009Dear Patti,I had a great opportunity last Saturday but I did not know that the priest in charge will allow me to talk to about 3 thousands women in a seminar section! Sometimes the priest does not allow me to talk but this time Fr. Peter gave me opportunity to talk to all the mothers in Nairobi and they were so happy! But I was not with rosaries and cards and camera but I will be getting opportunity now as a parish priest in the archdiocese of Nairobi so we may now need more materials!!! I told them about Rosary and important of prayer and good life! There was a miracle as we were all going through station of the cross a woman felt down and almost dead! She was near me! I think she was death or in coma! I prayed to the Immaculata and St. Philomena and lucky enough I got somebody with oil of St. Philomena and we forced her mouth open and poured in the oil with hymns to our lady and all of a sudden she came back to life! Wonderful!!Can you imagine such power! St. Philomena is powerful! Viva Patti Ave Maria Fr. Patrick Mary Filomena Congo |

Saturday, June 27, 2009Dear Patti,on this feast of "Our Lady of Perpetual Help" it is indeed wonderful to read your zealous response, may Our Lady illuminate the way, as I presume post is best, as Uruguay is sometimes very complicated, as great distances have to be covered, the majority of post comes via Montevideo and then it´s a six hour coach journey for parcels to reach Melo. My vicar General was joy filled to know of the Living Rosary response. How blessed that your brother spent time in Peru and Mexico, the experiences are so spiritually enriching as I am finding, I am so humbled before such beautiful examples of sincere Faith and immense trust in the Heart of Jesus, these people have so much to teach us., so many stories to share to elevate ones soul. I´m just back from the far out countryside, what a joy to visit the sick and see smiling and peaceful faces, ah yes the poers of the sacraments, it was a particular joy today, because I went to the church in Acegua, where I served the first two months of my diaconate, alone far from any convenient help in an area that speaks Portuguese and Spanish, at the time , I was poor in Spanish and knew no Portuguese, but here before the Blessed Sacrament, wonders do flow, baptizing 56 children in just a month, whom I recovered for Holy mother Church, just by visiting on foot over two hundred homes and Enthroning the Sacred Heart. Catch you later With every Blessing In the Hearts of JMJ Fr Michael Hutchings Diocese of Melo Cerro Largo Uruguay |
Greetings: My name is Emwella Christine Pamonag. I discovered about your organization when my cousin in the name of Blesilla Cardenas gave me the Holy Rosary. My aunt, her mother, was a member of your association and she receives the package that you send regularly. I would like to thank you on her behalf. My Aunt passed away last year. She is now reunited with the Heavenly Father and Mother Mary. I read the book that you sent to my aunt. And I am greatly touched and encouraged. It lifted my spirit. I would like to join in your organization but I do not know how. I saw this email so I decided to write... I just want to ask what I need to do in order to join in your organization. Thank you. More power. God Bless Us All. Sincerely yours, Christine |
Patti, It was with total joy I received your last packet of sacramental which also contain a very lovely book on Mary titled, MARY and the PRIESTLY MINISTRY by Fr. Emile Neubert, SM. The book is just wonderful Patti, I greatly appreciate it. Thanks for your generosity and kindness, may God bless you. On other note, it gladdens my heart so much to be forwarding to you again another list of fifteen members for the month of June. May the Immaculate Heart of Mary continue to be your source of strength, blessings and protection now and always. You are always in my prayers. Daniel Igono Seminario Claretiano Lima Peru |
Friday, June 26, 2009Dear Director Patti,May God be glorified in everything we do...and may He always bless your thoughtfulness, and your effort in reaching many souls for the glory of God. I received the box with the decade cards and the precious Holy Oil of St. Philomena...My words of gratitude are not enough to express my joy for having all these religious articles. They really inspired me to promote the devotion and somehow console me from the difficulties that I also encountered. I pray that my thoughts of gratitude will reach to Liza Simpson in heaven...I am really thankful to all those who dedicate themselves in preparing the religious articles and boxes. God is your rewards...May god bless us all. I'm very sorry I didn’t have a chance to get pictures while distributing the Rosaries...I just copy and paste some pictures of those who became members of the Universal Living Rosary Association of St. Philomena. They are our scholars and their parents. Please see the attached file. Thank you so much Ave Maria, Sr. Maria Corazon A. Lendio Daughters of Virgin Mary Immaculate Muntinlupa City Philippines |

Thurdsay, June 25, 2009Hail the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary; & St Joseph!!Dearest Patti, Thank you for such a lovely response. I am from London, England, my late mum and dad were from India, studied for the priesthood in Rome, used to be around Padre Pio's sanctuary for about six years on monthly visits, and now by the mysterious providence of Our Lord, ordained priest in Uruguay, South America. We are 11 diocesan priests in an area the size of New Jersey! With 135,000 people, we have sixteen churches four without priests, and 84 chapels, some churches are two to three houses distance. Recently we received notice of our new bishop Heriberto Andres Bodeant Fernandez, who will take possession on the 18th July, National Day for Uruguay and the day on which Our Lady appeared to St. Catherine Laboure. The diocese would be deeply grateful if any benefactor desires to donate an inscribed chalice or ciborium with a family name or memorial intention, since we are short of such beautiful things, the cost being sincerely prohibitive here. So even if there are new or second vestments, they are deeply appreciated. Most people I meet have no idea of Uruguay, and indeed the life of the Church here. As the society though only three million is highly secularized, many people are discovering Faith for the first time at the age of 30, 40, and 50! Melo diocese is a huge rural area, for rice production and thousands of cattle, but excellent organic quality. I´ll write more when I have time, I´d most willingly come to Texas to preach and make known Uruguay. that depends on the invitation of a parish there, normally with the consent of the bishop there, especially in the case of mission appeals. Right now must attend a presentation by a group of people on some aspect of our Faith. I reside in this parish with the Vicar General Rev. Dr. Freddy Martinez. This morning I was settling some papers and thinking what a pity we don´t have pictures of the Cure´ d'Ars, or a large picture to put in the Church, when suddenly in the laundry area I was amazed to see the Living Rosary Bulletin staring at me, when it suddenly clicked, the CurÉ d'Ars had a great devotion to St. Philomena, I have been three times to Ars, and of course prayed before the statue of St. Philomena. With every blessing especially in this special priestly year. Love and God bless through the Most Sacred Hearts, and remembrance at the Altar for your apostolate and members, Fr Michael Hutchings Diocese of Melo Cerro Largo Uruguay |
Dear Patti/ director of the Living Rosary Association of Saint
Philomena, Hello from Uruguay South America, Last year someone sent to me some lovely articles about the living Rosary from America. It´s great to see your newsletter in Spanish. I would deeply appreciate pictures of St. Philomena and Pauline Jaricot for distribution. with prayers in Spanish. If possible a few very large color pictures of St. Philomena, poster size, they would adorn our youth group’s halls. As we are in the year of the priest, with St. John Vianny’s devotion to St. Philomena, have you produced large pictures of him? Simple prayer leaflets, on the Rosary but all in Spanish please. Thanking you in anticipation of your kindness Uruguay is the most secularized country of South America, not to be confused with Paraguay, I was on an appeals mission last week in the USA, and was amazed when three New Yorkers said, where Uruguay is, you mean Paraguay. Religion is prohibited in all state schools and universities. With every blessing, will remember your apostolate at the Altar, this evening. Fr Michael Hutchings Diocese of Melo Cerro Largo Uruguay |
Wednesday, June 24, 2009Greetings Patti,Again I must apologize for the lateness of this message. Wil just received the parcel you sent to us some months back. It was due to lost information along the way. But we have addressed that and pray it does not happen again. Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena (ULRA) FUTO is doing well and organizing the consecration class due on the feast of Lady of Mt. Carmel. Our school is currently on an indefinite strike. We are praying for ULRA throughout the world. Thank you so much for the package. We are grateful for all your prayers and support. God bless you. Ave Maria! Mother Patti, The prayer to Saint Philomena I sent was translated by Rev. Fr. Immanuel Escano from Englist to Pangasinan Dialect. I do the promotion by: - Going to the priests, introduce myself and my purpose of coming- about the living Rosary, Ven. Pauline and St. Philomena. - Then they will gather the native parishioners and I will give "talk" about the Devotion to Fatima its massage and the living Rosary by Ven. Pauline. - Then, the commitments and the value of prayer warriors in one common intention: The Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. And I am not leaving them with question. - I will group them into 15 and give them the list, they will write their names and give those cards and I will tell them their Rosary group number and the day they will begin the prayer. But if the people are not so many I will do the writing and also the cards. But sometimes I am with some leaders and sometimes even priests or their secretary is helping me in distributing the Sacramentals and others. - Closing and opening prayers is made. If we have an extra more time I talk about the life of St. Philomena and other saint devotees of the saint. And share two or three miracles of the saint in abroad and locally. - After the promotion, I am giving another chance to the other people who are not present during the "talk" by going back to such group or parish for another talk (because I do not give Sacramentals without them knowing the purpose, nature and the commitments of the living Rosary.) - I also invite the priest to join and if they agree, I am leaving little amount of Sacramentals, forms cards and the Total Consecration where the Origin, purpose, nature and commitments of the living Rosary is written. Date and Rosary no. is also included. Then they will contact me or I do visit them to get the lists. My cell phone no. is also given to them so that they can invite me if new members are available to be enrolled. Jerome Vidal Dizon Dagupan City Philippines |

Dear Patti, Good morning to you...I wanted to write and to let you know that we have distributed completely your most recent gift to all of us. We are so grateful for your "Servant's Heart" and the way you willingly and quickly help us with materials when we ask. St. Philomena is becoming well known in Nicaragua - I always tell them that if any people could be called the "Children of Mary," that it would be them. I always tell them they need to get to know her. We gave to three convents in the city of Leon, Nicaragua. We also gave your gifts to the "Major Seminary" of the capital city of Managua (in Nicaragua). I took a small suitcase full of Rosaries, devotional materials, St. Philomena oils and materials, both green and brown Scapulars, and Miraculous Medals to the Bishop. He was so pleased. His face "lit up." He has a big monthly meeting with all of the priests in his Diocese on the first Tuesday of the month. They will be allowed to choose what they need from this on July 7. Times are difficult in Nicaragua these days - a government that loudly proclaims that its officials are Catholic on one hand - then the other hand exerts discriminatory policies and oppression against the True Church. The Bishop is under tremendous pressure and it is a pleasure to see him smile. My Nicaraguan physician friends and I also distributed the devotional materials in the numerous Chapels along the Nicaraguan and Honduras border. There is no running water, electricity or roads for vehicles there. We rode on horses and mules. I have attached some photos for you to see if you wish. During those days we were also conducting free medical clinics for the people. My sister is helping me to pack another box to go out in about two weeks. Would you be able to send more devotional materials? The priests seem to especially treasure the healing oils. You can send them to my mother's house. We are shipping the box through Medrano. They have safely got every box that we have sent through. I am trying to get it to arrive in time for my next mission there in late September and in October. Mom is expecting them. Thank you for any further help you can give us and for the smile on the Bishop's face! God bless you and sustain you and the ministry. In Christ and Mary, Dr. Debra Cole Nicaraga |

Our Dear Madame Patti Melvin! A pleasant good afternoon, Once again we are sending to you the lists of new members of the Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena in the Diocese of Surigao, particularly in San Nicolas de Tolentino Cathedral Parish containing 49 pages, one group each page. My family is overjoyed for your continuous support by giving us more supplies of the Rosaries, Miraculous Medals, Booklets and other Sacramentals that we have been distributed to those who willingly accepted the devotion. We believed that you spent a big amount of money for the expenses of making and buying the supplies for us and the payment for the transportation from your country to the Philippines. Besides, we also learned that you have been sacrificing together with your volunteers in accommodating and preparing everything for the spread of the devotion all over the world. We would always pray for your success and for your good health. Lots of those who received the devotion had experienced great joy after they received many blessings from God through the intercession of Mama Mary and St. Philomena. Many had been healed from their sickness through the holy oil of St. Philomena and many had been answered of their prayers to St. Philomena on their needs, especially financial needs. One had testified also that she received a great blessing from God Thru the great St. Philomena as her husband had been converted from being drunkard after she offered her petition every time she recited her decade. My family also receives a lot of blessing from God thru the great St. Philomena, material, physical and financial needs. We are very much happy that God had sent to us St Philomena as our refuge and intercessor; we believed that God had planned for this in our life and in my whole family. Recently, I am authorized by our beloved Bishop to have an evangelization program over the radio station owned by the diocese. Before, my program was only every Sunday, but now, he offered another time which is now a daily evangelization program. This is a blessing for me that I could even propagate the devotion over the radio station. Thus, we could easily invite people to receive their decades. The whole month of May 2009 was dedicated to Mama Mary, as the "Flores de Mayo" (Flowers of May) had been celebrated all over the Country as part of the Church tradition wherein the children were gathered in different Parishes and Chapels for their Catechism Studies. Part of the activities is the praying of the Rosary in the beginning of the session in daily basis from May 01-31. And the supplies that you had sent to us were very much useful to them as we had given them individual Rosary as they had been enrolled in the ULRA. This is a great accomplishment both of us for the Glory of God. We need more people to pray the Rosary every day for the defeat of the enemy of Jesus. Please send us more supplies, including holy oil and other available materials you have. Thank you very much, more power to you and God Bless! Jelson Surigao City Philippines |

Wednesday, June 17, 2009Most Rev.Bishop A.ThanPeace Home, Mong Lar P.O. Box 25 Chieng Rai - Maesai 57130 Thailand Dear Patti Melvi, Peace & Health be with you. Received with hearty thanks your kind letter dated May 15, 2009. During the month of April 2009, I was touring in some villages on the hills of Toungo diocese. There I saw the faithful are very rich in faith, but they are very poor: I mean they are poor in materials. They have no Rosaries, no medals, no scapulars, no holy pictures in the houses. I have distributed to them the Rosaries, medals etc.. to them free of charge. I only asked them to pray for the generous donors who sent us these religious materials. All of them promised me that they will pray for you all every day. The recitation of the Rosary will be for our generous benefactors. I was so glad to hear that Promise. Let us help them keeping their strong faith by distributing freely the Rosarie, medals, scapular and other materials. I wish to assure you and all the generous benefactors who send us the Rosaries and other religious articles for our poor catholis on the hills. I ask our dear Mother Mary and Her Son Jesus to love, bless and reward you all more abundantly for your generosity, charity and fraternal solidarity. Always keeping you in my daily Mass; and daily prayers. Yours in Jesus,Mary and Joseph, Mons. Abraham Than, B.E.K. Click here to view a scan of the letter >>> |
June 2, 2009 Dear Patti, As I am having more ULRA Missionary Centers in almost all corners of Malawi and in my own Parish, many demand these religious items. As I told you earlier, the holy oil of Saint Philomena has a powerful curative effect on the users. Every morning after Mass, people ask me for these spiritual things. Kindly send as much as you can, in the next boxes. Now, with these huge registrations of new ULRA members, I need more and constant boxes, as I will have to be sharing them out in the whole country. May the Good Lord always bless your holy efforts! Ave Maria! Fr Remigius L. KASAWA, DP St. Peter Claver Catholic Click here to view a scan of the letter >>> |
Monday, June 15, 2009My dear Patti,May 08, 2009 I need some rosaries and other devotional items. We are having a good number of new Catholics. We try our best to keep them in Faith with several devotions, among them the most important is the Rosary Devotion and other Marian Devotions. I used to receive rosaries from some people in the past. But they all stopped. I do not know why they stopped. I hope you will help us. I have no money to buy these materials, however much I love it. Our people really cherish these items and make use of them very devotionally. Looking forward to hearing from you soon, With warm regards and prayers, Yours in Our Lord, J Gratian Mundadan, cmi Bishop of Bijnor Click here to view a scan of the letter >>> |
Dearest Patti, Thank you for the expedition dated jun. 3. 2009. God reward you abundantly for all! I was very sick dear Patti. Before to go in Transylvania, one of my eyes started to grow ...until I almost could see no more with it. (the right one). I tried all I knew and all I heard is good , but.... nothing....! So with all my fear of going to doctor in our country, I entrusted in Our Lady's hands all my life and I was going to a doctor. I tried four doctors. In the end I arrived at a doctor very, very young. I could understand she is not involved in politics. After some very professional investigations she told me that I need an operation. She gave to me some treatment to buy some medicine. I respected all she recommended but I asked the help of St. Philomena .I used the Holy oil and the cord too. After few days the inflammation stopped to grow any more. And from the next day it started to reduce its size. Today I have only a little inflammation. Almost everything disappeared. No need operation!!!!!!! Thank you dear our Heavenly Mother. Thank you little Princesses Philomena. Thank you Patti because you gave St. Philomena to us. And you support us in all. God bless you and love you and protect you!!!!!!!! In the other hand, we need to change our identity cards if is expired. This is a difficult time because it is necessary to go many times from a place to another, to go and pay taxes, to go and come many times as usually in our country. But will be all finished Wednesday. Another news is about Maria Sutherland which will come to visit us. We are very happy for this. All the priests are waiting for her. God protect her travel. And now I try to send you some pictures. All the rest will come in few days. I am sorry because I could not go earlier in Transylvania but not always is according with our will... But Fr. Ernil promised to make some pictures for you until I will arrive there. Hoping that you are all OK, we send you our love and we recommend you to Our Holy Mother and to the intervention of St. Philomena as in my case. Ave Maria Gratia Plena Monica Transylvania |

Dear Patti, I have disturbing note that the Mai Mai are eating people up in the Congo, I saw one lady who is amongst those that fled from the cannibalism practiced fully now by the Mai- Mai military that are fighting to dislodge Rwandan Ethnic Tutsis from the eastern Congolese soil. It?s serious! However, I have been encouraged that the diabolical practice spares the miserable refuges that have medals! I am told that Francis notified you on this urgency, in his message he says in his broken English that you promised to reach them through me! So I am still in the countryside of Ruhengeri diocese here in Rwanda, I had come to town to tell you that I am safe, I am now going back because there is allot to do! If you will be at all ready and I have to send the boxes of MM to Francis, it will be easier when I am still on this side of Rwanda that boarders Congo, will only require for my transport to the border. Saturday, June 13, 2009Patti,Thanks for your mail which I got this evening. Health wise, I am o.k. Thursday, June 11, 2009Dear Mother Patti,Last Saturday I sent a parcel to Rev. Fr. Cornelius who works in one of the jungle village in the South West Region of Cameroon. Fr. discovered our Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena (ULRA) Missionary Center during the Pope's visit to Cameroon. He represented his Diocese of Mamfe. He wrote to tell me after receiving his parcel I sent to him that he love working with the Living Rosary. His lists of all his new ULRA members will be off this coming week. You might have seen his lists also in the previous lists I sent. Again, another parcel was sent too last week to one of our promoter who works in the Bamenda Central Prison. She could have sent pictures but there are a lot of restrictions in the prison that could not permit her do so. She is delighted working with us. She says that her work there is easy thanks to the Living Rosary. I may need a box or 2 of diamond rosaries and Medals. For now I have enough enrollment cards. Almost a box of enrollment cards with rosaries with me. Concerning the letter you forwarded, Liberia is just recovering from 40 years of civil war which claimed a lot of lives and which had also brought enmity between Liberian people. So, if there is anything we could do to help them the better. On my part I'm very much ready to respond to your decision. You are only person to decide but all I know is that Living Rosary will play an important role in bring permanent peace in that country. And since Sr. Mary Laurene has expressed the desire of the Liberian Bishops, we may have no option than to respond positively to their demand. The trip could only take 2 weeks or at most 3. I pray God through the intercession of our Mother, Mary and our Princess, St. Philomena to provide the means. Paul E.Ekpe St. Joseph's Anglophone Parish Yaounde-Cameroon Africa |
Dear Patti, I am back and I thank God that everything went on well this time as the place was calm with massive turn out and I tell you the people were very happy knowing that the living Rosary cared for them. Nearly 1,000 people were enrolled as new members of the Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena (ULRA). I would like to get some more materials to visit St. Paul seminary to enroll some seminarians who have indicated there interest to be members and help spread the devotion of the ULRA. If you have the beads like Rosary for them, that will good but if not, then you can send any type you think will be okay for them. We also need scapulars, and all the other things you usually send, Can get the items before June ending? I will be glad if you do. Finally, May God bless you Michael Maitama Abuja |
Dear Mrs. Melvin, Thank you so much for your reply. Our parish has a large statue of St. Philomena in our school. We will bring it over to the Church for August 11th. I have scheduled a Mass on August 11th here in honor of St. Philomena with special prayers for the sick and unemployed. I will lead the Rosary 20 minutes before Mass and will have a parishioner take sign up for the Living Rosary. After Mass we will recite the Litany of St. Philomena and ask the sick and unemployed to come forward for a blessing with the Oil of St. Philomena. There is a lot of excitement about this Mass. This will be the second time that we did a Mass in honor of St. Philomena. The last time we had nearly 300 people in Church. One person, who had been unemployed for quite some time got a job, quite unexpectedly, the day after he attended the Mass and came up for the blessing with the Oil of St. Philomena. Many others received favors too. I'm going to see to it that the August Mass gets better publicity. The last time we just advertised it in our bulletin; this time, we'll try to go city wide. I'll be deeply grateful for any help that you can give us in obtaining a relic. I look at it this way: if St. Philomena wants us to use a relic at Her Mass, She'll see that we get one. Gratefully, Fr. Jim McCormick United States |

Dear and Loving Sr. Patti, I forward the mail received (see below) from the Provincial, Holy Family Sisters Sri Lanka acknowledging receipt and distribution of Holy Rosaries, etc. sent by us to displaced persons in the Refugees Camp of the recent ethnic war in the Northern Sri Lanka. TODAY I am airlifting Banners and 6 six inches statues of St. Philomena with scapular faces supporting them. The Box will reach you next Monday or Tuesday. Type of the many new members of the Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena here, lists ready sent. There are more lists to be sent to you. With regards, love and prayers K J ROCHE Dear Mr. Joseph Roche Greetings from Dehiwela, Sri Lanka This is to express our sincere thanks for the gift of rosaries you sent through our sisters. These rosaries were distributed to the displaced people who were in the Internally Displaced Camps. The people in these camps (Jaffna and Vavuniya) were very happy to receive them as we said that some good hearted people from India sent these rosaries freely to them .These people have lost everything in their life - their dear ones, properties etc. etc.. But they haven't lost their faith. Their dependence on God is very much visible. We appreciate your generous gifts such as this even in the future. We assure you of our prayers for your dear intentions. May God Bless you and your service Sr. Yolande Mathias Provincial Superior Holy Family Sisters Sri Lanka |
Monday, June 8, 2009Madam Patti,Happy that got someone who knows more ENGLISH to help me express to you what we have on ground since we got Miraculous Medals (MM). I am thankful to Jennifer, she works with OXFAM and she accepted to help me write to you well in the English you understand, she understands Arabic and English but she is from Egypt. Now, we want to register, both our thanks and requests to you. First we are happy for what you have so far sent us, we have used up all the MM and the Saint Philomena Holy oils that you sent us through the peace keeper here, we have several miracles of girls escaping rape by the janjaweed of the pro- Islamist authoritative government in Khartoum, we get various incidents of attacks by the ruthless that claim to be working for Allah! They continue to burn villages at kill, we are surprised that there are several incidents where children that have MM have been spared by the fires that either come from the janjaweed or those that engulf our overcrowded makeshift plastic tents. Twin boys were saved without any injury when their mother's tent was razed down by a fire from a fire place that was spread by the continuously moving winds! NGO staff has been reduced in Darfur since the sentencing by the ICC of the Sudanese president for crimes against Humanity, and attacks have been multiplies since last March, now many people, the youths mostly; face multiple injuries; the oils are our life line we use them greatly and have saved many! A 7months pregnant lady was bayoneted by a janjaweed, thus put the baby in danger because part of the stomach was open and no immediate help to assist was available, however, God's miracle came when I was told, we had no alternative, administered the lady with the oil and continued for a week ! Today, she is happy with her baby she delivered last Saturday. Here, whatever, age when the janjaweed become wild, they rape any age of girls, we have noticed with interest that many girl children that are seen with MM around necks are not raped, janjaweed call them satan. Madam, we hereby request you, to consider us again as urgently as possible, each day that passes, many souls re injured , help us to send us more oils and MM, then images of our Lady! I can?t write much today because Jennifer has a commitment, I will write again tomorrow with her assistance to translate into English understandable to you. We do put our entire lives in you decision, you hold our future here in Darfur. We cry to every benefactor to urgently help us. Angela Darfur |

Dearest Patti, HAIL MARY! I thank you for the forex box you have just sent to me months ago. Several people were joyfully embraced the devotion of the Most Holy Rosary through the inspiration of St. Philomena. She was started performing healing through her Holy Oil to the sick devotees. Many are cured not only their physical sickness but also spiritual, and this was the concrete evidence I ever heard through her intercession. The material (rosaries, miraculous medal etc.) has been distributed to the faithful to the different religious communities, organizations, and groups working in the Church. It is very rare time also to have these materials for the Youth and Children because this month is our ?FLORES DE MAYO? a devotion of the Blessed Virgin Mary where we offered Rosaries and Flowers in a very special way. Many are interested to this holy devotion to the Blessed Mother which we believed the strong way to fight against the corruption of sin, to sanctify the Families, and to lead us to the Kingdom of Heaven. This sacred endeavor is given to us to work it, to live it, and to share it to all. We will pray one another for this mission. This is also to inform you that we have a new Archbishop here in our Archdiocese. He was canonically installed last year by our Papal Nuncio to the Philippines. Please produce an official letter coming from your office asking permission from him representing by me to spread the devotion of the Universal Living Rosary Association here in his archdiocese. It is good for us to work if we have the blessing from the Archbishop so that we could have the official authority to work Parish by Parish. We are a Metropolitan Archdiocese which composed of several suffragan Dioceses namely: Archdiocese of Palo (Mother Diocese), Province of Leyte, Diocese of Naval (Biliran Province), Diocese of Borongan, Diocese Catarman, Diocese Calbayog (Samar Provinces). Please pray that we could be able to spread this devotion to these following provinces even little by little as soon as possible. Once we could have this permission I plan to make a local Universal Living Rosary Center here in my Archdiocese to serve and assist our local promoters. This is my dream for the association. I will send you later the registration lists to your office as soon as we finalize together with pictures. Again I would like to request to send us more Holy Oil, Chord of St. Philomena and other religious materials we need, I know you don?t have enough means to provide us because of the limited budget do you have, but I believe that God who are the source of all riches in this world will provide us, this is not for us but this is for Him. Rest assured our prayers and little sacrifices to be offered for our intentions. Ad Jesum per Mariam, Sem. Gelson D. Abecia, C.M. Philippines |

Thursday, June 4, 2009My wife Celeste joined the Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena about eight days ago. She was diagnosed by two doctors with 90% probability of a lung cancer tumor in her right lung and surgery was scheduled for June 2nd. She used the holy oil of Saint Philomena and holy water and we prayed the litany to St. Philomena daily. This was a very serious operation. The surgeon was to go in with first an exploratory incision into her back side and take out a sample of the tumor for analysis by the lab. He would have the results back in 20 minutes. He fully expected it to be cancerous and then he was to remove 1/3rd of her lung and probably lymph nodes in her chest too.Our whole family was in the waiting room. The operation was to take about three hours if they removed the lobe of her lung. About one hour later, he came out with a big smile on his face and told us it was not cancerous, that he removed the tumor and she would he going home in a couple of days. Praise be Jesus, Mary and Joseph and St. Philomena. She is home now and doing wonderfully. We will be celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary July 18th with special thanks this year. God bless all. Dear Mrs. Patti I would like to share with you new mission approach to spread the devotion to the Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena (ULRA). The parish group of the youth received some graces from Saint Philomena and they decided to make the performance of the life story of Saint Philomena. They were learning how to make the performance for almost year and this Sunday they launched this performance. Almost 200 people came to the performance and some of them joined the Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena. The performance was very moving and everybody was very impressed. I send you the pictures of the performance to let you look and you can put the pictures on the web if you want dear Mrs. Patti. I thank you very much for sending the stipends. With the prayers and respect father Ivan Kolodiy Father Ivan Kolodiy Ukraine Europe http://www.livingRosary.org.ua |

Tuesday, June 2, 2009I have been on leave since last month i.e. April and May. Today is my first day in work after that long leave. I had a pleasant life and I had pleasant time to talk to my God.Since I joined this Universal Living Rosary of Saint Philomena my life is different. It feels so perfect. I was wondering if you could send me some St. Philomena Oil, Cord. I marked my windows with this remarkable oil, one night a stray bullet hit my bedroom window, and the window was broken but the bullet did not enter the room. Isn't remarkable. The police were also surprised by this because their assessment was that the bullet should have got into the room, by looking at how the window was hit. Francina Masena Lesotho Southern Africa Thank again for everything. I love you all the members of The Universal Living Rosary of Saint Philomena. |
Dear Patti, As I am having more Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena (ULRA) Missionary Centers in almost all corners of Malawi, and in my own Parish, many demand these religious items. We greatly need MORE 1 Decade Rosaries for our daily recitations. As I told you earlier, these holy oils of Saint Philomena have a powerful curative effect on the users. Every morning after Masses, people ask me for these things. Kindly, please, send them as much as you can, in the next boxes. Now, with these huge registrations of new ULRA members, I need MORE and CONSTANT boxes, as I will have to be sharing them out in the whole country. May the Good Lord always bless your holy efforts. Ave Maria! Rev. Fr Remigius L. KASAWA, DP St. Peter Claver Catholic Parish Malawi Africa |
Ave Maria! Mother Patti, The Sacramentals here are enough for my diocese in some schools here, this start of classes but to the diocese of Alaminos it's not enough. If you can send an emergency Forex or route other boxes to me for the Diocese which is greatly devastated, I will go there after finishing some appointments here and giving instructions to my leaders. I will stay in the Diocese of Alaminos for Three days or more to visit barangays, towns and churches especially the cathedral destroyed by the Super Typhoon EMONG as soon as I receive money from you for this promotion trip. Let us give HOPE to these people! By giving them the heaven's armor, Rosaries and Miraculous Medals. Mr. Von Torio my best friend and a promoter of the Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena (ULRA) and I will stay in the Major Seminary in Alaminos as soon as we finish our trip. It will be a great blessing if they will also provide food for us. We will just shoulder our transportation. But if not, because the seminary is being shouldered by the diocese and the whole diocese is under crises because of the typhoon, we will provide food for ourselves. Please Mother; make this trip possible by sending us fund for works in my diocese and my trip to Alaminos Diocese. And make the fund sufficient for the whole month and for the postal fees because my lists and pictures of the work are ready to be sent. Waiting for a positive reply. God bless the Diocese of Alaminos! God bless your missionaries! God bless our benefactors! ALL FOR THE SAKE OF THE TRIUMPH!!!!!!! VIVA ULRA!!!! Jose Salvador Mallari, a Catholic priest presently assigned as pastor of the Parish of St. Joseph the Husband of Mary In Bangad, Cabanatuan City, Philippines. I got to know you through SR. MARY G. MAGSIANO, OP of Sta. Marina Omura in Cabanatuan City, Philippines. She gives us rosaries for our catechists, youth, Legionaries of Mary and other parishioners. We would like to thank all you because you become instruments to make our parishioners closer to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Through the rosaries you give they are encouraged to pray. Please be assured that we are also praying for your association. May God bless you all. Dear Patti, There are over 500 additions to the Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena but I never find the time to access the database (the webmaster made it complicated) and send it to you. The email below might interest you. I think you are doing Mary's work and I am sad to hear about these misunderstandings. Would you recommend me a traditional Catholic university in the US to do my Ph. D. in Mariology? Obviously not Notre Dame and Georgetown. Do you know where could I get a 5 months grant to finish my book? I?ve finished this stage of the research and it is clear the magisterial backs my hypothesis: Mary is really present IN the Eucharist in body, blood, soul and divinitization. There are many theological paths to explain this. The easiest way to understand the mystery is (please don?t share this with anybody until I publish): 1. All the Saints and Angels are spiritually present ?in? the Eucharist because the physical and the metaphysical dimensions are indivisible. 2. Scripture explains that in the end of times, ALL saint?s bodies will be glorified and become one with Jesus, though keeping individuality, like branches in the vine, like stones in a building, like members in a body, etc. 3. Mary?s body has already been glorified (dogma of the Assumption, which can be rationally explained to our separated brothers through the deep meaning of ?new Eve?) 4. Mary is already one with Jesus, she is part of the mystical body of Christ so when the priest says ?this is My Body? at consecration, it is Jesus? body, which is Mary?s body too.
